Profile of Mr Jeffrey Low

Since young, I have always tagged along with my Dad as he travelled all over the island in search of good food. Over the years, as my interest in writing also grew, I began to keep a journal of interesting and noteworthy food that I would come across – be it hawker centres, cafes, specialty eateries or casual restaurants.

In particular, I have immense respect for the Singapore hawker. The thought process behind the recipes, the long hours spent preparing and executing every detail of the dish, and above all, the passion and drive to continue making the local hawker scene exciting and relevant.

Like most food bloggers, I hope to justify every hawker’s hard work by sharing on their food or stories, be it widely popular stalls or those relatively under the radar.
