Profile of Ms Karen Lim (KL)

A real estate consultant, happily married with two teenage children. 

She is a self taught chef who gets her inspiration through Youtube cooking channel, cooking show and through dining out. “Whenever a delicious, stunning dish catches my eye when I dine out, I will attempt to recreate it at home. I live to eat.!” One of her recipes was also featured in the first ever SAF OWC cookbook to commemorate SG50 celebration.

Being a health and wellness freak, she is also a firm believer of cooking with natural ingredients, most of her dishes are made from scratch using homemade stock base, paste and natural colouring. 

She has a sweet tooth, her love for pastries, cakes and Kueh can be seen in her contribution to AUH. As a self-professed high tea aficionado, she enjoys baking and heritage kueh making to share with friends and family.

She hopes to inspire the young that cooking is not a chore and to bring back Heritage Food alive. After all, food is such a big culture in Singapore.
